In response to the needs of our customers, we’re releasing the latest Tachoscan software version 6.2.1.
Here are the most important changes in the new version:
- Converting foreign salary to default currency
- A feature was added to automatically convert the foreign salary due based on the default settlement currency. This feature is active by default.

- The conversion result will be visible in the Foreign Working Time Registration report. The currency exchange rate is based on the month’s average rate.
- Changes have been introduced in the analysis that allow to verify infringements in accordance with amendments to the Regulation 561/2006 for occasional carriage of passengers introduced on 22 May 2024.
- Periods during which drivers performed single passenger carriage operations (documented with passenger waybills) can be recorded in the driver edition under the new “Occasional Passenger Carriage” tab:

- A list of periods during which occasional passenger carriage was performed will be displayed when generating infringements along with a list of detected exemptions regarding postponing weekly rest periods by up to 12 periods of 24 hours.

- For the above-mentioned periods, the software will automatically account for following options:
- divide the 45-minute break into two parts, each lasting at least 15 minutes (a total of 45 minutes);
- postpone the daily rest by 1 h, based on the available choices:

- Infringements concerning postponement of daily rest by up to one hour, falling within the limit in accordance with the selected choice, will be automatically marked as unapproved.
- Postponing the next weekly rest period by 12 periods of 24 hours.

- Information was added on generating the tachograph card and the tachograph
- In the Readouts History report [118] and the readouts summary following data upload, information was added concerning the card (G1, G2V1, G2V2) and reader generation. Version information is also displayed for tachographs.
