Voting remotely today, the TRAN Commission has approved the mobility package without any modifications. Now, in line with the EU-approved plan, the bill will go to vote at the European Parliament. The vote is expected to take place during the July plenary session to be held between July 8 and 10.
Most likely, it will be the final voting on the bill followed by promulgation of the new regulations. It means the first changes dealing with, inter alia, the mandatory return of the driver to the base / home every 4 weeks, or the modifications of using the week-long rest time will come into force as early as at the turn of July and August.
