The beginning of the new year will bring the following changes in the minimum wage rates:
- France – increase in the general minimum wage from EUR 9.76 to EUR 9.88. This change will make it necessary to raise rates, among others, for drivers of vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes. The table of rates in force as of 01.01.2018 in France is shown below:
- The Netherlands – for the age group of 22 years and more, which is also the largest group among professional drivers, the hourly rate has changed from EUR 9.04 to EUR 9.11. The new rates in force as of 01.01.2018 are presented in the table below:
By the end of the year, the deadline for many notifications of drivers expires, especially for France, Germany or Austria, where the notifications are valid for a period of 6 months.
