We are excited to announce that the latest version of TachoScan, 6.2.3, is now available! This update brings a number of important improvements and new features designed to enhance your experience and ensure compliance with current regulations.
What’s New in TachoScan 6.2.3?
Foreign Salary Conversion Display – based on the currency of the company’s country.
A new option has been added in report [280] Work time in foreign countries record generation window:
“Show wage payable for foreign salary acc. to default settlement currency.”
Selecting this option adds an extra row in the summary section of the report, showing the salary amount converted into the company’s default settlement currency.
Example: A Czech Republic-based company can now see foreign salaries paid in Germany displayed both in euros (EUR) and converted into Czech koruna (CZK).
New Report: Record of Salary Components ([290])
This new report allows you to review detailed salary components and export the data to an Excel (.XLSX) file.
Improved Recognition of Diacritical Characters on G2V2 Driver Cards
The software now automatically matches driver names with diacritical marks, such as Jaskolka and Jaskółka, to the same driver in the Readout Summary.
Note: This feature does not apply when the alphabet changes (e.g., Latin to Cyrillic) or when card numbers differ significantly, e.g. due to the card being issued in a different country.
Update on Vehicle Return Infringement
By default, TachoScan will no longer generate infringements for failure to return of the vehicle every 8 weeks, in line with a recent Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) ruling. This obligation has been removed.
New Report: Activity in a Specific Country
This report provides insights into the time spent in a chosen country, total driving, working, and availability times, distances driven, and loading/unloading operations, using GNSS and driver card and/or tachograph data.
Grouping Method Change in Report 123 – Download and Validity Deadlines
Tachographs locked with a company card from the same enterprise are now grouped exclusively by the company to which they belong – even if the company has multiple company cards.
Enhanced Manipulation Warning
A new fixed condition has been added to the warning:
“Generate a warning if there are at least X minutes of driving between the GNSS time and tachograph time.”
The default threshold is 5 minutes of driving. This helps to accurately detect cases where the GNSS signal was lost during vehicle movement and avoids false warnings when stationary.
We encourage all users to update to TachoScan 6.2.3 to benefit from these improvements.
